Master Builder Bonus
The Master Builder Bonus is a system designed to reward players for strategic planning and efficient use of their Famous Buildings when undertaking Great Works. By focusing on lower-level projects or maximizing RP Power, players can gain additional bonuses that enhance their probability of success.
How the Bonus Works
For every 10,000,000 RP Points of excess RP Power (beyond the minimum requirement for a Great Work), you receive a 1% bonus to the success probability.
This encourages players to:
Choose levels where their board power exceeds the requirement to maximize their success rate.
Optimize the number and grade of buildings on the board to balance costs and success rates.
Examples
Example 1: Optimizing Probability
You have an Artifact Grade Board with 120,000,000 RP Power. You’re eligible to complete Level 26, which has a 44% base success rate. However, completing this level requires a large number of buildings, making it expensive.
Instead, you decide to complete Level 20, which only requires 50,000,000 RP Power. At this level:
An Artifact Board offers a 56% base success rate.
You exceed the RP Power requirement by 70,000,000 RP Points, resulting in an additional 7% bonus.
Your total success rate becomes 63%.
By lowering your costs and increasing your chances, you’ve optimized your Great Work attempt.
Example 2: Avoiding Losses
You have a Legendary Grade Board with 30,000,000 RP Power. You’re eligible to complete Level 18, which has a 60% base success rate. After calculations, you determine that this level may not be profitable.
Instead, you decide to attempt Level 10, which requires only 5,000,000 RP Power. At this level:
A Legendary Board offers a 73% base success rate.
You exceed the RP Power requirement by 25,000,000 RP Points, resulting in an additional 2% bonus.
Your total success rate becomes 75%.
By choosing a lower level, you’ve mitigated risk and increased your likelihood of success.
Strategic Considerations
Balance Risk and Reward: Going for the highest level may not always yield the best outcome. Assess your board composition, costs, and success probabilities before making a decision.
Optimize Building Usage: Use fewer, higher-quality buildings to minimize costs while maximizing success probability.
Plan for Profit: Always compare the expected rewards to the costs to ensure your project is profitable.
