# RP Points

RP Points are the main currency in **Reality Rush**. They play a crucial role in the game's ecosystem, allowing players to upgrade their city, receive [boosts](/reality-rush/advanced-gameplay/game-boosts.md), exchange for [sweepstakes tickets](/reality-rush/real-value-rewards/ticket-sweeptakes-system.md), and climb the leaderboards for priority in [airdrops](/reality-rush/airdrop.md) and premium [tasks](/reality-rush/advanced-gameplay/tasks.md).

### Earning RP Points

You can earn RP points through various activities within the game:

* **Tapping on Your City**: Earn points by actively tapping to collect resources.
* **Unlocking and Upgrading City Services**: Enhance your city’s [infrastructure](/reality-rush/advanced-gameplay/city-services.md) to gain more points.
* **Unlocking Famous Landmarks**: Obtain [iconic locations](/reality-rush/advanced-gameplay/famous-buildings.md) like the Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, and Golden Gate Bridge.
* **Merging Famous Digital Assets**: Combine assets to create [higher rarity](/reality-rush/advanced-gameplay/famous-buildings/building-grades.md) items for greater point rewards.
* **Upgrading Elite Facilities**: [Premium assets](/reality-rush/advanced-gameplay/elite-facilities.md) that gives players massive boosts and additional RP/hr passive bonus.
* **Completing Tasks**: Finish in-game tasks designed to boost your city's development.
